CHANGING DATES AT THE CONSERVATORY
We understand that dates will need to be changed because of Corona, here's our change policy:
Our goal is to make this as easy as possible without charging extra fees, but in order to do this there are some key factors to keep in mind.
Our goal is to make this as easy as possible without charging extra fees, but in order to do this there are some key factors to keep in mind.
- We will adjust to any open future open date that is available (already booked dates are not available) as long as your current payment schedule is maintained and you pay the reschedule fee $1500 for a Saturday / $500 for a Friday and $200 for a Monday to Thursday or Sunday. If your current date is on a discounted date, then you must either move to a ‘like’ date or pay the up-charge for a more expensive date + the reschedule fee. For example, if you paid a discounted rate of $2750 for Saturday April date but you’d like to move to a date in October then you’d be charged $500 ($3250-2750= $500) + the reschedule fee ($1500) For a total of $2000 to reschedule. Contact us for a breakdown of this cost. For instance, if your final payment was due in a few weeks/months but you move to another date but your current payment is still due on the original date + the reschedule fee.
- Payments: Maintaining your current payment schedule for the original rental fee's are required. The additional reschedule fee would not be due until 30 days before your new date.
- If your wedding was on a discounted date (Friday/Sunday/or some other discounted date/month) the discount would be no longer be allowed if you move to a non-discount date (Saturdays - high wedding season months).
- If you move from a Saturday to a Friday/Sunday/Weekday/or slower month we do not offer any discounts to move to one of these dates.
- Rehearsals: If you move to a future date then there may be a wedding already booked the day before your new wedding date. This would mean that your rehearsal time may need to change. Or you may schedule your rehearsal on your actual wedding day before guests arrive.
- If there is a second date change (to a 3rd wedding date) - due to a '2nd Corona Waive' then this may add additional meeting costs - case by case. Either way, the reschedule fee would be due.
- You'll need to sign a new agreement with The Conservatory for the new date once it's picked.
- Cancel: We do not provide any refunds to your booking fee when you cancel, but you will receive your damage deposit. If you cancel within 2 months of your date you will also be billed for your final rental fee as we can not find a booking that close to the date and you would be liable.
